The Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin (AROW) serves Wisconsin's recycling, waste reduction, and sustainability professionals. They provide statewide proactive leadership on waste reduction and recycling through education, advocacy, collaboration, programs and services. Opportunities for involvement include the Education, Organics and Composting, Product Stewardship, Advocacy, and Hazardous and Special Waste Committees. The CNRED program area is the home Cooperative Extension Program in which the SHWEC program resides. The CNRED program has an extensive Specialist network as well as CNRED Agents in most Wisconsin Counties. CNRED Agents are the first line of support for community natural resource and economic development.

DATCP is developing a pollution prevention program to address threats to the environment such as pesticide, fertilizer, herbicide and other chemicals commonly used in agriculture. The P2 program compliments the traditional agriculture and consumer protection programs that have been provided by DATCP for many years.

The ECW provides energy efficiency programs, research and education programs to residences, businesses, industry and government.

The Center is made up of a variety of UW-Extension Staff working on various environmental and natural resources programs such as lakes and water quality, agriculture pollution prevention, community hazardous waste collection programs and many other environmentally related programs around the state.

The GLPPR is a regional pollution prevention organization with representation from all of the Great Lakes states. GLPPR provides an extensive resource for pollution prevention and other valuable environmental information in the topic hub system.

The NPPR represents the entire pollution prevention technical assistance network throughout the United States. NPPR represents state and regional organizations in Washington DC and maintains sponsors the annual Pollution Prevention Conference which is held in different locations around the US.

The Cooperative Environmental Assistance is located at this site and is a portal to the entire WI-DNR web site. CEA is a partner with SHWEC on a variety of pollution prevention programs. The CEA web site contains many pollution prevention publications, regulatory guidance links, cooperative agreements and projects and direct links to CEA Business Sector Specialists.

WIP2 is a multi-agency coordinated environmental information web site which contains hundreds of publications, current environmental news and events, staff listings and services provided by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Cooperative Environmental Assistance Bureau, Department of Commerce Small Business Clean Air Assistance Program and the Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection.

SBCAAP provides extensive assistance related to air permits, air regulations and other environmental assistance. is another long time state partner in providing pollution prevention programs and has developed many easy to understand publications that clarify air regulatory requirements.

The EPA's Region 5 Solid Waste web site home contains recycling information, solid waste programs, grants and initiatives in region 5 related to non-hazardous solid waste management.

This is the home page for EPA's Region V which provides a portal to many pollution prevention activities both past and present that are going on in the region, including Wisconsin specific programs.

The Division of Energy Services administers statewide low income household energy assistance programs involving electric and heating bill payment assistance, as well as benefits and services to assist with energy crisis situations. Eligible households may also receive weatherization and conservation services.

The Waste and Materials Management Program encourages management of waste as a resource to help ensure a clean and healthy Wisconsin for future generations. The Wisconsin Focus On Energy is a coordinated group of programs in Wisconsin designed to help all of us make energy choices that yield the most value for our energy dollar while protecting the environment.

The WGBA is a non-profit 501(c)3 educational organization whose mission is to shape our future by facilitating and promoting ecologically sustainable practices within Wisconsin's built environment. WGBA is an affiliate of the US Green Building Council and represents USGBC and its programs in Wisconsin. WGBA provides LEED credentialing education and other education programs for green building practitioners and works to promote green business activity within its member network.

The Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP) enhances the success of Wisconsin's small to mid-size manufacturers by providing real-world knowledge in continuous improvement, business strategies and best practices.
