The Diversity Fellows program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is a campus-wide initiative that supports departmental efforts to increase campus diversity. We are committed to preparing our students to be effective citizen-leaders who respect and appreciate the dynamics of a
pluralistic world.

The Diversity Fellows Program provides an opportunity to gain an understanding of the professorial experience in the academy. It also provides opportunities for Fellows to become acquainted with UWM and Milwaukee, while at the same time, allowing the department and UWM faculty to develop collegial relationships with the Fellows.
The Diversity Fellows program is a 6-week residency at the UWM campus. Fellows will have the option to teach one course during UWM’s Summer Session (May 29 – July 7, 2012), or to engage in an intensive research experience.
