LINKS

LINKS (Leading & Inspiring New and Knowledgeable Students) is a Peer Outreach and Mentoring Center whose mission is to enhance the academic and social experience of UWM students though establishing and maintaining mentoring partnerships.

The peer mentors at LINKS come from as many different backgrounds as the students they serve. Whether you want to know the best place in Milwaukee to go for fun or how to find your 10am class, the mentors are here to help.

LINKS identifies students through referrals from academic advisors, tutoring centers, departments and instructors. While mentoring would most benefit incoming freshmen and transfer students who are from traditionally underrepresented groups and/or from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, LINKS offers its services to anyone who is an enrolled student at UWM.
