UWM alumni have a variety of networking resources at their fingertips.
PAAWS (Professional Alumni After Work Social) is a series of bimonthly alumni networking events. These relaxed, after work networking events provide a great forum for alumni to stay connected with fellow UWM alumni and friends, meet recruiters, begin a career transition, and seek networking opportunities.
Transitioning Your Leadership Networking Event
Students' involvement during their college journeys provides numerous benefits including helping them gain practical skills and knowledge that propel them into life after college. As an alum of UWM, you most likely have realized those benefits that your involvement has provided. UWM Student Involvement's CODE (Coaching, Organization Development, and Engagement) Program, Career Development Center, and Alumni Association are hosting a workshop series for current UWM students called Transitioning your Leadership in which students develop professional skills such as translating skills to a resume, talk about transferrable skills in an interview, and practice networking in preparation for life after UWM.
Join us on the evening of Wednesday, December 4, 6-7 p.m. to interact with student participants as they practice talking about their involvement experiences and strategies for the future. Email email@example.com to RSVP by November 22.
