Our Alumni Chapter is working to offer more opportunities for alumni to network and get involved with the JAMS Department, and we need your help! Being involved can be as simple as helping plan or attending chapter events. Please click on the "Chapter Sign Up/Interest" link on the right and provide us with your current contact information.

• Fun times at our alumni networking event at WUWM - The second-annual JAMS alumni event at the studios of WUWM Radio in downtown Milwaukee truly was a successful event. Station Manager Dave Edwards '75 was a gracious host and Dan Jones '80 did a fine job welcoming the 45 alumni and guests who attended. Dave provided tours of the station, which is fantastic, and it's come a long way since its early days in the basement of UWM's Fine Arts Building!
• UWM alumna & Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Raquel Rutledge ('90) met with a class of JAMS students in Holton Hall on the UWM campus March 15, 2011, to discuss her Pulitizer Prize-winning series of reports that revealed fraud in Wisconsin's child-care subsidy program. The prize recognized Rutledge's series "Cashing in for Kids," which exposed poor oversight of the state's $350 million taxpayer-subsidized child-care system and resulting fraud and other criminal activity.
