Get reacquainted with fellow Social Welfare alumni through our chapter. We hold programs and activities that help serve the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, and provide opportunities for alumni to learn about the latest developments in Criminal Justice and Social Work.
Events
- Thanks to all the alumni and Helen Bader School of Social Welfare students who attended a careers in social welfare panel discussion held May 3rd at UWM's Hefter Conference Center. The program wass sponsored by your HBSSW Alumni Chapter.
- Thanks to everyone who showed up at the alumni "meet and greet" March 22 at Harry's Bar & Grill in Shorewood March 22. Alumni from the '70s, '80s, '90s and '00s enjoyed good conversation, and the opportunity to meet HBSSW Dean Stan Stojkovic and members of the Social Welfare Alumni Chapter board. And there were already discussions about holding more such events in the future. Stay tuned!

Help by serving on the HBSSW Alumni Chapter Board!
The chapter needs a few good Criminal Justice/Social Welfare alumni to serve on the board. You would help plan the chapter's event and activities for the year. It's a great way to network and utilize your leadership skills. The board typically meets monthly at 6 p.m. (days of the week vary) at the Alumni House, 3230 E. Kenwood Blvd., in Milwaukee. Tobey Libber (BA ’74, MSW ’76), currently serving as the head of the HBSSW Alumni Chapter Membership Committee, is the new executive director of Jewish Family Services Housing Inc. He manages properties and social services for older adults in the Milwaukee area. Read his story.

Greetings from Dean Stan Stojkovic!
It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare Alumni Chapter Web site. Our school depends so much on the talents and skills of our alumni board and members to enhance what we do in the school.
I encourage you to join the alumni chapter (it is free!) and get involved. Whether it is a social event or an educational workshop, we need your attendance and support.
