The 2007 Nohl Fellows have been selected. Click here for
details.
The Peck School of the Arts, in collaboration
with Visual Arts Milwaukee! (VAM!), administers the Greater Milwaukee
Foundation’s Mary L. Nohl Fund Fellowships
for Individual Artists program. The program, funded by GMF’s Mary L.
Nohl Fund, has two components. The fellowship program provides unrestricted
funds
for Established and Emerging artists to create new work or complete work in
progress. The Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Mary L. Nohl Fund Suitcase
Export Fund for Visual Art was created to help artists with the cost of exhibiting
their
work outside the four-county area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington).
Both programs are open to practicing artists residing in the four-county
area.
The Greater Milwaukee Foundation is made up of charitable funds, each created by individual donors or families to serve the charitable causes of their choice. Grants from these funds serve people throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington counties and beyond. Started in 1915, the Foundation is one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the U.S. and abroad.
