You may submit a CD-R, formatted for viewing on both Macintosh and PC platforms with jpg images or you may submit 35 mm slides. For digital images: include information on required software if appropriate and outline the navigation path to be followed or list the files to be reviewed in priority order. Include instructions on how to open the files. Slides should be labeled according to the slide diagram below. Include no more than 10 images total where multiple views or details are necessary to fully represent the work. All work samples should be numbered and identified with the artist’s name.

Time based entries must be presented in sample length form; do not submit more than 15 minutes of samples. Cue videos to beginning of sample; for DVDs, include a full version of the work as well as a sample and provide navigation directions. Alternative media format entries should be specified and easily accessible for jury review. Label all disks with artist’s name.

Artists using time based media may submit work samples in DVD or VHS (1/2”) videotape (NTSC format) only. Review time will be limited to a maximum of 10 minutes. Submit each sample on a separate tape or DVD. Please remove the plastic tabs at the top of video cassettes to prevent accidental erasing. Cue each video sample to the segment you wish the jury to view. For DVDs, when possible, format the DVD to include two links on the menu/title page: the first to the excerpt you wish the jury to review and the second to the entire piece. Label each sample externally with the applicant’s name and title of work.

The work sample description list must include
