Music Performance Courses, 8 cr.
A total of eight semesters of Principal Instrument studies are required.

Performance Organization, 8 cr.
A total of eight semesters of Performance Organization are required.

Music Theory, 17 cr.

Music History and Literature, 14 cr.
Introduction to World Musics (Mus 310) required.

Music Convocation, 6 semesters (no course credit).

Special Core Curriculum Requirements.
0-6 credits of foreign language, which may be fulfilled by two years of a high school course or by up to 6 credits at college level.
