Panther Band is the university pep band, and performs at home basketball games of the UWM Panthers at both the Klotsche Athletic Center and the US Cellular Arena in Downtown Milwaukee.

Panther Band accompanied the UWM Panthers to the 2003 Horizon League Tournament Championship and to the first round of the 2003 NCAA National Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis.

Panther Band is open to any university student, participating in a UWM large performing ensemble, by audition. Members of Panther Band can earn a scholarship for their season-long participation with the pep band.
