Learn how to narrow your flute search with easy “how-to” suggestions, then try them out in the Exhibitor Room!

The first Wisconsin Flute Festival is scheduled to take place in the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts on the UWM campus on March 9, 2008. The day features a variety of events for flutists of all ages and abilities, as well as for lovers of flute music. Stop in for a few hours or stay the whole day!

  • Recital and Master Class with Chicago Symphony Principal Flute Mathieu Dufour
  • Recital and Master Class with Cleveland Orchestra Solo Piccolo Mary Kay Fink
  • High school flute competition with $250 first prize
  • Performances by Caen Thomason-Redus, Nan Raphael, Mihoko Watanabe and alumni of the UWM flute program

Plus: Flute Choir, Alexander Technique, Trevor Wye Books Class, Online Learning Environments & Exhibitors
