The K-12 Theatre Education Program gives students

  • A high quality program in theatre education in a diverse urban setting
  • A course of study grounded in national and state frameworks and standards
  • Course work in theatre education, storytelling, playwriting, acting, directing, and technical production
  • Fieldwork and practice teaching to prepare you to teach theatre at the elementary, middle and high school level in Wisconsin schools
  • Opportunities to teach and perform theatre in the Greater Milwaukee area
  • Service-learning apprenticeships with Milwaukee performing arts organizations
