The Peck School welcomes you to two special annual events at Kenilworth Square East, our newly-renovated creative research space: the 31st Annual Grand Viennese Ball and the second annual Passport to the Arts. Whether you come at 5:30 pm for an evening of fine dining and dancing at the Ball, or drop in later for dessert and the building-wide performances and exhibitions that make up the informal Passport to the Arts, you’ll spend a grand evening with students, faculty, alumni and friends of the Peck School on March 8.

GRAND VIENNESE BALL
Chancellor Carlos E. Santiago & Dr. Azara Santiago-Rivera, Chairpersons
March 8, 2008

5:30 pm - midnight

The 31st Annual Grand Viennese Ball is your passport to the arts: an opportunity to celebrate with the students, faculty, alumni and friends of the Peck School. Join us for an evening of dining, dancing and performance at Kenilworth Square East. All proceeds support student scholarships.

You will begin the evening with cocktails and music in the Inova/Kenilworth gallery space, and you will be able to wander next door to browse the silent auction. Dinner and dancing will take place on a transformed second floor where you will enjoy uninterrupted dancing to live music for the entire evening. And, by celebrating the 31st anniversary of the Ball in our new space, we can simultaneously showcase the talents of our students in the many studios and project spaces that fill the upper floors. Just grab your passport and take off for a tour of the building as you enjoy performances by our dance, music and theatre students, and screenings and installations by our film and visual art students.

Schedule
Cocktails, entertainment and silent auction begin at 5:30 pm.

Gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Scott Shully of Shully’s Cuisine begins at 7:15 pm.

Passport to the Arts
March 8, 2008
9 pm - midnight

Can’t make it to the Ball? Consider joining us for Passport to the Arts. Beginning at 9:00 pm, guests are invited to drop in at Kenilworth Square East for dessert and six floors of entertainment by UWM students.

Beginning at 9:00 pm, the upper floors of the Kenilworth Building will be transformed into a dazzling palace of the arts. You will be free to roam from level to level, enjoying performances by Peck School students. Catch an excerpt from our upcoming musical, Oklahoma!, a segment of a theatre production, or the high energy work of our dance students. The film department will screen a series of recent works by their students and we will present the ever-popular cabaret, featuring students from the Voice and Dance areas. The Men of Song, a 50-voice choral ensemble of men's voices, will serenade you as you travel from floor to floor, and work by young artists in the Department of Visual Art will be found throughout the building.

There will be plenty of time to take it all in, with performances repeating throughout the evening and a passport to guide you to your chosen destinations.
