Lubar School Ranks 89th in North America for Business Research
Research published by faculty in the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has been ranked 89th in North America in an annual ranking by the University of Texas-Dallas.
The UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™ for 2008-2012 track articles faculty have published in 24 leading peer-reviewed academic journals over the five-year period. The rankings are recognized by business schools as a well-regarded benchmark of research productivity against peer schools.
“This latest recognition adds to the Lubar School’s growing research reputation,” says Dean Timothy L. Smunt. In addition to the UTD ranking, Lubar School researchers in the management and information technology management areas are also recognized in separate ranking surveys that focus on individual fields.
The Lubar faculty is made up of 73 individuals with expertise across many fields, including marketing, finance, information technology management, supply chain, accounting, human resources, business strategy, and international business. In addition to conducting research and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, many faculty also serve as editors or on the editorial boards of top academic journals.
