CTI to Host “Groovy and Grails Programming” Workshop

“Groovy and Grails Programming” is the topic of a full-day workshop at the Center for Technology Innovation at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s Lubar School of Business on Friday, May 30.  The workshop takes place from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. in Room N146 of Lubar Hall, 3202 N. Maryland Avenue on the UWM campus.

Sang Shin, founder and chief instructor of the online learning site and a former lead Java technology architect at Sun Microsystems, will lead the workshop.

The program will examine how Groovy and Grails can serve as an alternative to building Java Enterprise applications for those who have been using Spring framework, Java EE, or any Java-based, web-based framework.  Attendees will gain a solid foundation to begin their own Groovy and Grails project.
