Lubar SCOM Students Team Up for APICS CompetitionA team of Lubar School supply chain students travelled to Chicago in February to participate in the annual student case competition hosted by APICS (Advancing Productivity, Innovation, and Competitive Success). The Great Lakes District welcomed over 30 teams to this year's event. The Lubar School was represented by Adam Santella, Josh Madlung, Katie Risch, Nina Zagar, Panhia Ly , James Tierney, and Julie Forsythe.
This year's competition case focused on sustainability. Each team was given 16 hours to prepare a formal analysis and recommendation, and presented their findings to a panel of industry judges. "Team Lubar" received honorable mention for its analysis and presentation. Many thanks to the Milwaukee Chapter of APICS for providing partial support to the Lubar students' participation.
