His research focuses on Quebec language policy; urban redevelopment and metropolitan restructuring, particularly in the Montreal region; and Canadian urban labor markets. He is professeur invité at INRS-Urbanisation in Montreal, and has provided research and analysis for the Conseil de la langue française and the Office de la langue française in Quebec. His most recent book is La Reconquête de Montreal (1997). In 2005, Levine received the prestigious Ordre des francophones d'Amérique Award presented by the Conseil supérieur de la langue française. |

David H. Pritchard, Center Scientist email: pritchar@uwm.edu David Pritchard is Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication. His research focuses on Canadian-American media accountability, journalism, and communications law. He was the first U.S. Fulbright scholar in Quebec, spending 1991-1992 as a professor invite at l'Université Laval. Pritchard's most recent book, co-authored with Florian Sauvbageau, is Les journalists canadiens: Un portrait de fin de siècle (1999). |
