Kinesiology: B.S. Athletic Training

Faculty & Staff

The ATEP faculty consists of a core of 4 faculty and academic staff in the Department of Kinesiology, and 2 academic staff with split appointments in the Department of Kinesiology and the Department of Athletics. All of these individuals are directly involved with both the classroom and clinical education of athletic training students. In addition, the program has over 60 Approved Clinical Instructors who are athletic trainers in the greater Milwaukee area specializing in the clinical education of athletic training students. Three of the faculty hold doctoral degrees in Kinesiology, specializing in biomechanics and exercise physiology. They have strong records of publication and grant funding and active research laboratories. The Director of Clinical Education is working towards a Doctor of Education degree in Health Care Education. See the links below for more description of research interests and current projects.
