Interests & Expertise

Wendy began her career at UWM in 1973, in the university’s admissions office. Throughout her time at UWM she has worked in the Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering & Applied Science, as well as the Department of Chemistry in the College of Letters and Science. In 1997 she joined the College of Health Sciences (CHS), which at that time was called the School of Allied Health Professions, in the Department of Kinesiology.

Wendy is responsible for the day-to-day logistics of the department to ensure that operations run smoothly. Whether it’s ordering supplies, processing departmental forms, or hiring and supervising the department’s work-study students, Wendy contributes to the success of CHS by supporting our teaching and research faculty. She is proud to say that she has had several work-study students who have worked for her their entire college career at UWM. It’s a credit to both Wendy and the Department of Kinesiology when students enjoy working for CHS.

In her time away from CHS, Wendy enjoys rooting for the Green Bay Packers. She’s been a Packer fan from “way back” and even has a collection of Disney characters that are dressed in Packer uniforms.
