DepartmentOffice of Student Affairs Professional advisors like Susan occupy a unique niche within the university as they guide, assist, and interact with students from that first week of college through graduation. She works with new freshmen, reentry, transfer, continuing students, and those seeking second undergraduate degrees or certificate programs. Her current advisees are those undergraduate students seeking degrees in Biomedical Sciences with submajors in Biomedical Sciences, Cytotechnology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Laboratory Sciences (formerly Medical Technology), Public Health Microbiology, and Radiologic Technology. Susan also advises students interested in Certificates in Nutrition, Forensic Science, Forensic Toxicology, Death Investigation, and Molecular Diagnostics. |

Susan is a member of UW-Milwaukee’s Academic Staff and has been an academic advisor at UWM since 1987. A graduate of UW-Madison, Susan’s long and successful history of working with students earned her the Academic Advisor of the Year Award in 2005 and the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Service in 2010. Service to the university extends beyond Susan’s routine duties through her many committee memberships over the years. |
