This community based clinic provides a range of services to help children and adults who have difficulty communicating through speech.
Therapists and communication specialists from UWM and MCFI with expertise in augmentative and alternative communication offer comprehensive evaluation, treatment and consultation services to help these individuals express themselves more effectively.
People we serve have disabilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Autism
- Cerebral palsy
- Developmental delays
- ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease)
- Multiple sclerosis
- Stroke and other neurological disorders
MCFI and UWM combine expert resources to provide innovative programs to help people with special needs reach their highest levels of independence.
