The Speech and Language Clinic serves the university and surrounding community by providing clinical services as part of the professional preparation of students in the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. All students have had the necessary coursework and are closely supervised by certified and licensed speech-language pathologists. The Clinic provides evaluation and treatment services, usually on an individual basis, to children and adults who have a variety of communication disorders, including articulation/phonology, language, fluency, and voice. The Clinic, at times, also provides evaluations and instruction to adult clients who wish to improve their use of Standard American English, while maintaining their primary language or dialect.
