Mission

To recruit and retain Milwaukee-area underrepresented and disadvantaged students into pre-health and health professions programs. The CHS Office of Diversity and the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) and its formal partners provide:

• Summer Enrichment Programs
• Academic and financial aid advising, counseling, and tutoring
• Internships that provide invaluable confidence through work experience

• Complementary training to enhance academic performance
• Exposure to the diverse career opportunities in the Healthcare field
• Connections to mentors who can help students achieve their goals in college and beyond
• Pre-college programs to prepare students for enrollment in a college or university
