Summary:

     This program offers students between 8-10 activity based modules, each geared toward developing leadership skills. Examples of activities include community service, leadership retreats, two way mentoring, workshops on ethics and emotional intelligence among other activities.


Who is eligible?

     Any UWM student, including non-traditional students, graduate students and any others

Who would appeal to?

Benefits:

     Students in this program will learn about organizational leadership, civic engagement, ethics, emotional intelligence, personality types, communication styles, diversity, and mentoring. Each participant in the program will be closely matched with a mentor in the community working in the student's area of study. Because of how closely the students work with the CVSL staff, community mentors, and others, this is a good way to build your resume and develop relationships with future references.
