Getting Started: Doing the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning |
| Reflection and Application of Results |
| Finally, it is important that each SoTL researcher reflect on the results that accrued from the research project, and to think about how those results can inform future instructional practice. Critically reflecting on the results of one research investigation often leads to future research opportunities. It is in reflection that faculty “learn” more deeply about what works, what does not work, and what research avenues to pursue next. Once the process of research, reflection, and application is started, it offers up endless opportunities for future research, reflection, and application. |
