Testing Center Policy on Testing Students With Disabilities According to the University of Wisconsin System Policy on Individuals With Disabilities, it is the policy of the University of Wisconsin system that no qualified individual with a disability shall be denied access to or participation in any program, service, or activity offered by the universities. Individuals with disabilities have a right to request accommodations. Each individual seeking accommodation is required to submit documentation verifying the disability and limitations, which are appropriately current and prepared by a qualified professional.
You may provide this documentation in one of two ways:
- Referral from UWM Student Accessibility Center
Students may contact the Student Accessibility Center and establish a file in their office. Documented guidelines with required accommodations will be forwarded to the Testing Center.
For more information on the Student Accessibility Center, visit their website at: Student Accessibility Center or call V/tty 414-229-6287/ Fax: 414-229-2237.
If an interpreter is required, the student must notify the Testing Center or the SAC in order to provide the proper assistance.
