Hardware Purchasing Policy

 

Standard Computer Replacement

All standard desktop computers get replaced on a three year rollout schedule. For more information, see the PC Life Cycle Policy.

Purchasing of Hardware

Desktops outside of the three year rollout schedule, and all other hardware purchases, need to go through the Systems department. The Systems department will check to ensure that the hardware will be compatible with your existing systems, provide a price quote and arrange the purchase of the hardware. The Systems department will coordinate the installation and configuration of the hardware with the user.
