The Power to Experience UWM - on a whole new level!

The 2011 UWM Open House

Friday, October 28 2011 9am - 5pm

Saturday, October 29 2011 9am - 2pm

UWM Union, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd.

The Open House is the best opportunity to see everything the University has to offer - you'll see why UWM has become the destination campus for thousands of students every year!
  • interactive displays
  • speak with advisors and staff from each school and college
  • view samples of student work
  • take specialized tours of buildings and departments, the campus and trolley tours of the neighborhood
  • and so much more

No advance registration is required, though you do have the option to pre-register at openhouseprereg.uwm.edu - this will help get you on your way faster after a quick check-in on the Union Concourse. If you don't pre-register, you can register that day on the ground level of the Union Concourse. And you can do it all at your own pace - stay an hour, stay the day or attend both days, whatever it takes to get the answers you need!

This year we are excited to be able to offer additional special presentations on topics important to prospective students and their families, as well as some fun entertainment and informative exhibitions. The layout of the event has been designed with an exciting new look and feel, making it even more inviting for visitors to explore and experience all that the Open House has to offer. Not only will participants be able to learn about areas in which they are already interested, but they'll be introduced to new and different possibilities they may not have previously considered.

Mark your calendars because you don't want to miss this opportunity to connect to all the awesome things UWM has to offer, and how affordable it can be!

Parking

Ok! You've made it here - now where do you park? Parking will be available to UWM Open House participants in the UWM Union parking structure, located at 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd. If this parking structure fills to capacity, we ask that you park in the Pavilion parking structure, 3409 N. Downer Ave, next (click HERE for map). It is important that you park in these lots as parking anywhere else on campus or in the community during the Open House could result in tickets or fines. If you choose to park outside of these suggested places, please do heed signage in the area for parking restrictions and regulations to avoid fines and fees.

Questions about the Open House should be directed to the Department of Recruitment and Outreach at 414.229.2222.
