HRS Self Service

HRS Self Service provides UWM employees with an easy and efficient way to manage their personnel information anytime/anywhere via an Internet connection. Self Service is accessed via the My UW System portal at my.wisconsin.edu using your ePantherID and password.

Features
Features of HRS Self Service made available with the implementation of HRS in mid-April 2011 include the ability to:
  • Update personal information via the eProfile module
  • Access important payroll documents and expanded payroll information
  • Review leave balances
  • View dependent personal information including a summary of dependent coverage
  • Submit time entry (for pilot group of early adopter classified staff and student hourly employees)
Additional features will be added in a phased approach allowing more online information entry and viewing.

  • Increased data integrity–Allowing employees to update and control information eliminates second party entry errors and waiting time for information to be updated.

System Maintenance Windows
Scheduled maintenance window for HRS is Tuesdays and Thursday from 6 p.m.–8 p.m. During this timeframe, Self Service may not be available. For information about outages, visit outages.wisconsin.edu.
