Nursing Learning Resource Center

At the Nursing Learning Resource Center (NLRC), located on the third floor of Cunningham Hall, students learn and practice a variety of clinical nursing skills. The center offers three resources to students: practice laboratory areas; Media Library and Information Center; Computer Lab.

Spring Hours-
effective January 23

Computer Lab and Media Library
Monday through Thursday 8am-7pm
Friday 8am-4pm

Practice Labs
Monday through Thursday 8am-6pm
Friday 8am-4:30pm

Modifications to these hours will be posted in the NLRC

Practice Laboratory Areas

The practice labs offer students state-of-the-art, simulated clinical environments in which to learn skills that are foundational to safe nursing practice. Students learn to administer IVs, give injections, insert catheters and more.

Media Library and Information Center

The Media Library and Information Center houses audiovisual material, reference books, textbooks, reserve materials and other equipment. All materials are available for use by students, faculty and staff.

Computer Lab

Through the Computer Lab, students have access to email, the Internet, required CD-ROMs, word processing and other software programs.

Use of this area is restricted to College of Nursing students, faculty and staff.
