Are you using Mail to check your UWM email? Want an easy way to look up your professor's email or even a classmate's? This is the solution for you.

Open the "Address Book" program, then open the preferences under the "Address Book" menu.

Click on the "LDAP" button.

 

Click on the "+" button

Name the server UWM LDAP
Server: ldap.uwm.edu

Search base: o=uwm.edu
Port: 389
Scope: subtree
Authentication: None
User name and Password are not necessary.

 

Click save.

Now when you compose a message in Mail and type in someone's last name it will automatically pull up everyone at UWM with that name.
