Safari vs Internet Explorer

Almost everyone knows that IE is the most common browser around, however it is also has some serious security holes in it, as well as a lack of standard support.

Fortunately Apple created Safari, a browser based on Web Standards. But that isn't all that it has to offer that is better than IE.

Safari has a pop-up blocker to stop those unwanted pop-up ads. (Enable this by going to the Safari Menu-> Block Pop Ups or keyboard shortcut Apple+K)

Safari also has tabbed browsing to help with screen clutter. To enable this feature go into the Safari Preferences (Safari Menu->Preferences) and click on the Tabs icon.

These are just a few of the advantages of using Safari.

Apple has its own article on this which can be found at http://www.apple.com/safari
