Approach to Art
I work in both film and video; all of my work is personal experimental pieces, mostly about me/my family; and most recently I've been getting into exploring the world of handmade films.

Inspiration
The main inspiration for my films and videos are my family. My work is experimental and I take a simplistic approach to my images, even though some of them aren't so simple to make. I've had six of my pieces in a few of UWM'S Student Film and Video Festivals and I won first place for one piece and honorable mention for another piece in a Milwaukee Journal video contest.

Favorite Quote
My favorite quote is from an unknown source that I saw in a packet, in a film class, during my first year here: "A movie is born first in my head, dies on paper; is resuscitated by the living persons and real objects I use, which are killed on film but, placed in a certain order and projected onto a screen, come to life again".

Plans After Graduation
After UWM I don't know what I'm going to do exactly. I will be applying to various graduate school, but also looking into internships and jobs right away. I know I want to continue doing personal/experiemntal work, while also explorng more installation/preformance & mixed media work, I'd like to learn more about/create experimeal narratives and documentaries. So, I guess I want to do a little bit of everything.
