Tuition Information

Students in the MPH, PhD and graduate certificate programs qualify as on-campus graduate students.

Scholarship/ Fellowships

UWM’s Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health awards approximately $100,000 of competitive scholarships annually. The average award is $5,000, which is equivalent to a 50% in-state tuition/fee remission. The highest award is $10,000, or full support for in-state tuition and fees.

Apply today! Applications are due January 15th, 2015 for Academic Year 2015-16 public health student funding. One application allows you to be considered for all scholarships, assistantships, and fellowships for which you are eligible. Some opportunities may require supplemental application materials, so read directions carefully.

  1. What are your career goals? Be specific in how your goals demonstrate a commitment to social and environmental justice.
  2. What unique or unusual circumstances set you apart? (include if you are a low-income and/or first generation college student)
  3. What are the strengths of your academic career to date?
