Position: Equipment Room Worker: No-Vacancy
Job Summary: The purpose of the Equipment Room Worker is to serve our patrons as an attendant in the equipment room. The Equipment Room Worker must be able to use the Class Membership Management equipment check out system to check out and process rental fees.

Serve our patrons by cleaning activity & other areas of the facility. Monitor the Klotsche Center and Pavilion for illegal entries and appropriate behavior of patrons. Assist the Information Center Manager with tasks and errands.
To serve patrons as a front-line representative of UREC. Control access to the Klotsche Center and Pavilion through use of the Membership Management System. Location – Information Center ID swipe desk.The UREC Fitness Attendant will provide a high level of customer service while supervising the UREC Fitness Center, enforcing policies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe environment. Fitness attendants will be attentive and continually observe/walk through the fitness center, while being available to provide assistance to users.
Position: Personal Trainer: Vacancy
Job Summary: The UREC Personal Trainer will educate clients on proper exercise techniques, conduct fitness testing, and develop safe and effective exercise programs. The trainer will coach, inspire and motivate clients towards established goals. The trainer will also independently manage training appointments and maintain regular contact with clients. Qualified candidates will hold a Personal Trainer Certification from an accredited national organization.
Group Exercise Instructor: (Group Cycle Instructor, Yoga Instructor) Vacancy
Job Summary: The UREC Group Exercise Instructor will design and teach safe and effective group exercise classes to a variety of fitness levels. Instructors will educate participants on proper form, anatomy, contraindications and modifications, while creating a fun and safe environment. Candidates must complete the UREC Group Exercise Instructor Training program and/or be certified with an accredited national organization.
Sport Clubs Event Assistant: No-Vacancy
Job Summary: The purpose of the Sport Clubs Event Assistant is to support the mission of the Sport Clubs Program to provide a professional and safe experience for all members of the program. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide on-site supervision of Sport Clubs practices, competitions and special events. Job Summary: CPR Instructors will train the UWM community in basic life-saving care. Instructors will teach courses independently or with co-instructors, and should be comfortable with basic classroom management.

Job Summary: With limited supervision by the Associate Director and Operations Program Assistant this person is responsible for conducting instructional aquatic courses aimed at skills and knowledge pertaining to the specific area of instruction, as prescribed by the American Red Cross. An emphasis must be placed on maximizing safety while delivering positive customer service at all times.
Water Safety Instructor certification and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, ARC or equivalent is required. Standard First Aid, ARC or equivalent as well as Lifeguard Certification or ARC equivalent are preferred.
The instructor must have:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to be punctual and work variable hours as necessary.
- Ability to communicate with swim lesson participants and their parents to coordinate lessons times around the open swim pool times.

Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator manages social media and advertising for Outdoor Pursuits and, works closely with University Recreation Information Services. This individual must have significant experience in graphic design and excellent grammar.
Outdoor Putsuits Logistics and Event Staff: No-Vacancy
Job Summary: Logistics and Event Staff oversee outdoor gear rentals and returns, assist participants with trip sign up and maintain a neat and inviting space. These staff are also responsible for facilitating frequent events and educational programs on campus.
Outdoor Putsuits Challenge Course Facilitators: No-Vacancy
Job Summary: Challenge Course Facilitators provide 2 hour to half day team building experiences for on campus groups. CCFs are groomed for paid work through an apprenticeship process which focuses on local operating procedures, leadership and group dynamics and developing a program. First Aid, CPR and AED training are minimum requirements for CCFs and is provided in house and free of charge.
Trip Staff: No-Vacancy
Job Summary: Instructors and Trip Leaders provide safe, fun and developmental outdoor experiences for UWM students. They are groomed for paid work through an apprenticeship process tailored to each applicant's depth of knowledge in a particular discipline. A Wilderness First Aid certification is required for all staff who wish to lead off campus trips. This 16 hour certification is provided in house and free of charge. CPR and AED training is also required and provided in house and free of charge.
