Martial Arts

The Martial Arts Program is a multi-disciplinary, open source approach to martial arts. Our program welcomes beginners and advanced participants alike. We focus on developing proper technique based on current scientific research and apply our training in self-defense based scenarios. Experience the meditative and health benefits of martial arts linked to proper breathing and relaxation as you develop your martial arts skills.

Classes promote overall fitness, flexibility, balance and self-defense.

Our Instructor, Phil Sauer, holds an 8th degree black belt and has over 40 years experience in the martial arts. He has traveled throughout the United States, Europe and Asia teaching and demonstrating with his instructor Master Tadashi Yamashita.
