A sport club is a group of students that voluntarily organize to further their common interest in sport through participation and competition.
The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Sport Clubs Program’s purpose is to provide students the opportunity to participate in sport competitions against clubs of other universities as a means to enhance their university experience and provide a vehicle for a well-rounded education through physical, social and leadership development.

I can’t pick just one because we had an outstanding 2012-2013 season. We doubled membership, finished the year 4-2 (undefeated against collegiate club level teams), ended the year ranked 7th in the nation, and was invited to a postseason bowl game.
It gives us the opportunity to become a member of a competitive league and further legitimizes the program. We're now going to be playing teams from outside the state, and have the chance to play for conference and national championships.
Our Regular Season schedule includes games against:
It is not a pre-requisite for joining, but it would definitely help your cause to make the team. We currently have one player who did not play football in high school on the team.
This year we will travel to Kenosha WI, Peoria IL, and Flint MI. Additional travel will be required if we earn a spot in the Great Lakes Conference Championship and/or a bid to a postseason bowl game.
We practice 3 days a week M/W/F evenings from September through November. Mondays and Wednesdays are padded. Fridays are walkthroughs to prepare for the game on Saturday.
We expect to be in the hunt for the 2013 NCFA National Championship! We first hope to win our division and be a participant in the first ever Great Lakes Conference Championship game. If we win the Great Lakes Conference Championship, we will have a good shot at a National Title bid.
It’s a chance to play college football for a successful team. You get to do everything a NCAA football team does with a little less time commitment. We are a good group of guys, have a top notch group of coaches, and we have a great time playing good football.
We currently don’t have any special traditions, but we are hoping to make our home games something special. We hope we can get some great student support for the Fall 2013 season. We are YOUR football team! We had a very successful 2012 season and are looking to have another very successful season in 2013. Come out and support YOUR college football team and make it a tradition! All home games will be played at the University School of Milwaukee. Our home game schedule is listed on our website.
Like all other sports, MPFC members will learn a lot of transferable skills. Specifically, all members will learn teamwork, how to overcome adversity, conflict management, planning, and time management. As a bonus, you will develop new friendships and make memories that you will carry with you after graduation. Also, we have officer opportunities available for members interested in getting behind the scenes knowledge of how a football team operates and to improving their leadership skills.
No special requirements other than making the commitment to be at all practices, games and team events!
Visit our website for additional information about the club and to fill out our “Play for the Panthers” form.
