BSAS student wins award in AIA Milwaukee competition

Saturday, June 1, 2013

Jacob G. Jordan (BSAS 2013) was awarded Third Place in the 2013 AIA Milwaukee Emerging Professionals Design Competition, dedicated to examining and finding solutions to some of the large design challenges facing the City of Milwaukee.

This year’s competition, "Kilbourn Town Enterntainment Complex", focused upon "the continued demand and evolution of the facilities we design by developing an adjacent entertainment complex for Milwaukee’s main arena, the BMO Harris Bradley Center, capable of providing auxiliary sources of income and delaying the need to demolish the existing facility to make room for a new one to provide these sources of income."

Jacob's boards will be on display at the AIA Wisconsin convention in May, and at the Milwaukee City Hall after that.

Congratulations to Jacob!
