Museum by Jim Shields listed among "best of new American architecture".

The new Museum of Wisconsin Art, designed by Associate Professor Jim Shields, FAIA has been chosen among the top 50 US buildings for 2013 in a state by state look at the best of new American architecture.

American-Architects.com is presenting a state-by-state tour of American Architecture  featuring a different project per state (alphabetically) for the 52 weeks of the year. They have chosen the new Museum of Wisconsin Art, which Shields, FAIA designed with HGA Architects to represent the state of Wisconsin. The website, state-by-state tour of American Architecture, will begin featuring the MOWA building on Monday, December 9, 2013.
