Please note that this code will insert a search box that will search
all of the content in the UWM.edu search index - not just the content
in a particular web directory. If you would like to insert a search
box that will search only your site's content, please read about
search collections below.
Searching a subset of the UWM.edu index (Search Collections)
Searching a subset of content contained within the main UWM.edu search
index is known as a "search collection." Search collections are
ideal for searching just the content of a particular web site.
When a search collection
is created, the search administrator tells the Google Search Appliance
to begin crawling at a specific URL - typically a particular web
site's homepage. The appliance will then crawl all of the content
in that web directory as well as any directories contained within
it, thus creating a search collection.
If you are interested in creating a search collection to be included
on your web site, please complete the form below.
