Early Adolescence through Adolescence
- Social Studies Education Program

The Social Studies Program is available for students who plan to teach social studies to children from age 10 to age 21, in 6th through 12th grade. Social Studies Program students gain real world experience in the classroom through student teaching at area schools. Students who satisfactorily complete the program requirements also meet the Wisconsin teacher certification requirements for those grades.

Undergraduate Degree in Early Adolescence through Adolescence - Social Studies Education Program


Bachelor's degree leading to licensure in a two or more social studies subject areas.

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification in Early Adolescence through Adolescence - Social Studies Program


Students who already have a bachelor's degree and are interested in becoming licensed teachers in the state of Wisconsin may earn Post-Baccalaureate teacher certification in Social Studies.
