Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership and Research

Union WG28
The Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership and Research (CCBLLR), located in the Union, promotes student volunteerism and leadership development through co-curricular activities such as an annual student leadership retreat, a Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, weekly food pantry volunteer opportunities, work-study jobs as tutors in local public schools, and a scholarship program for first-generation and Pell Grant eligible students.

Student Success Center
Bolton Hall 120

The Student Success Center is dedicated to creating opportunities for all UW-Milwaukee first-year, transfer and returning adult students and families to successfully transition into an inclusive and vibrant community. The SSC places a high value on connections with other students, faculty and staff to enhance each student’s personal and academic success. The SSC will also lead efforts to create a campus climate in which students persist to the second year and on to graduation.
